The name of this blog comes from one of my favorite SF characters, Pirx the Pilot from Stanislaw Lem’s books. The number 2691 not only happens to be the registration number of the airplane that I own (with two other people), but is also composed of 26 – my favorite number – and 91 the year my daughter was born.
So there you have the explanation of the name.
